Housing for Sony DCR-SR30, SR40, SR50, SR60, SR70, SR80 Video Cameras Ikelite Housing #6038.81 Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion-proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe, allowing you to see if the case is sealed. Housing measures 6" wide, or 10.5" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8" high including the removable base; and 11" deep including knobs and port. Weight above water is less than ten pounds. External Side Mount Mirror is included to provide viewing of the color monitor through the clear housing. Reversing electronic circuitry shows correct left-to-right image. Reversing circuitry not available on Sony DCR-SR30 & SR40 camera models. The port is threaded for fitting optional 67mm threaded waterproof wide-angle lenses such as the Ikelite W-20. Also accepts Inon (UWL-100 Type 2) and Epoque (DCL-20). Housing operates safely to 60m (200'). The LCD screen controls are designed to access all P-Menu boxes. The primary function of these controls is to access and control the white balance. Space is provided to allow use of the optional Sony NP-FP50, NP-FP60 or NP-FP90 batteries.
