The 6-1/2-inch circular saw can crosscut 2-by lumber; it comes with a 16-tooth carbide-tipped blade. The four-piece combo kit comes with two high-performance 18-volt nicad batteries, a one-hour charger and a soft-sided carrying case. -- Joseph Truini Reader Reviews My wife recently got me this for my birthday (I know guys, what a score - a wife that buys you tools). I had only asked for the circular saw that's part of this kit, but she's heard me go on more than once about not having a hammer drill, so she killed 2 birds at once with this kit. I'd owned the DC759CA kit (1/2" drill + sawzall) for nearly a year, and definitely got great service out of it. By getting this kit rather than just the 2 pieces, she saved some pretty nice $$ right off.. Everything in the box works great. While I've not had occasion to whip out the reciprocating saw from this kit yet, it's got a couple of cool features my old saw didn't. First, the XRP batteries, so it lasts longer, second - you can mount the blade sideways, rather than just up & down. Neat. The drill has sick amounts of torque and speed. It's great. The circular saw - the tool that started it all.. Went right through 4x8 sheets of plywood & lattice like butter. Haven't had reason (yet) to use the light, but it seems neat. The only knock I can think of? I'd rather have a bag than the big molded plastic box. So, what happened to the old tools? They've found their way over to the church for use on mission trips. Hey, they're almost new, why not? Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
