The headphones have excellent quality and short of having a 5.1 sound system in the room they are really great. I have a hearing challenge in both ears, one worse than the other, and this headset is designed for people like me. I use them routinely for movies and other TV broadcasting that I want to hear better with the distractions in the room or just reflected sound causing a problem.
